Unusual Places was selected for the Miami Indepentent Film Festival for January 2016.

Producer Nakia Ford and Writer/Director Shaquana Golding are excited to announce that their Masters of Film Production thesis film Unusual Places, is now ready for release to film festivals. It was an amazing journey from the moment Full Sail University decided to produce the short film.  The production consisted of over 30 cast and crewmembers working together over the course of three days to create a 5-minute comedy short film. The film was captured on the Sony F65 camera in 4K resolutions. 

Unusual Places is a humorous and lighthearted tale about a single mother, her daughter , and an unusual toy that puts them both in a very unusual situation. The film’s lead actress is the beautiful Jillian Cumbo who plays the mother, Darcy Klump, and the adorably talented, 8 year old,  Susana Zuleta  who plays , Meghan Klump. Come to support and enjoy Unusual Places in upcoming film festival screenings.
