Jullian Cumbo: Actress “Darcy Klump”

 

Jillian graduated from Florida State University where she earned her Master's degree in Sport Administration.  Jillian currently works as an instructor of adult education, but is pursuing her passion of acting, and  has been studying acting under Natalia Leigh Denny. Jillian makes her acting debut in Unusual Places. 

Susana Zuleta: Actress “Meghan Klump”

 

Susana Zuleta is an aspiring actress and singer from Orlando, Florida. She is an avid reader and has a love for writing. Susana's first acting role was during the production of Unusual Places. This experience has motivated her to take her acting more seriously; she has started taking musical theater and dance classes. Susana dreams of working in television and film.

Nakia Ford: Producer

 

Nakia Ford is an editor, writer, and filmmaker from Indianapolis, IN. She has earned a BA in Digital Film and Video Production for the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumberg, and has most recently earned a MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University.  While at Full Sail University Nakia, wrote and directed over 10 short films, and received the Course Director's Award in Experimental Film. Not only was she the producer of Unusual Places she also created the animated title sequense for the film as well.  Nakia, has years of broadcasting experience in the U.S. as well as  directing and editing commercials for the Armed Forces Network in Kaiserslautern, GE, with viewings in three continents. 

Shaquana Golding: Writer/Director
 
Shaquana Golding, is from Newark, N.J, and is a recent graduate of Full Sail University where she earned her MFA degree in Film Production and BA in Communication at Kean University. During her stay at Full Sail University, Shaquana wrote and directed the thesis short film, “Unusual Places”. Her primary goal is to become a director, writer, or editor of a television series.

Dhruti Patel: Unit Production Manager

 

Dhruti Patel is a producer, director, writer and editor who had a very successful career in the Healthcare industry in New Jersey, before she decided to become a filmmaker.  She made several short films and assisted on many outside projects during her time at Full Sail University where she recently earned her Masters of Film Production. Her goals are to be a successful producer and director.

 

 

Monika Parmar: Editor/1st Assistant Director

 

Monika Parmar is a director, editor and writer from Gujarat, India. She is a 2015 graduate of Full Sail University, earning her MFA in Film Production.  Monika filled leadership roles on 18 different film projects. She has held positions ranging from production assistan, writer, director, and producer. She has also worked as a production assistant for WWE-NXT events, which telecasts on  the WWE channel. 

Tony LoParco: 1st Assistant Camera

 

Tony LoParco is a filmmaker from Groton, New York. He earned a BS in Film from Full Sail University with a Course Director’s Award in Documentary I. He recently earned his MFA from Full Sail in Film Production. While he was working on his Master’s Degree in Film Production he wrote and was director of photography on two stop motion short films, Tech Support Wars and Deadpool Takes the Death Star. Both films were selected for the Acme Film Festival & Tampa Bay Comic Con Film Festival. Deadpool Takes the Death Star won Best Picture at the Acme Film Festival.

Stephanie Vernet: 2nd Assistant Camera

 

Stephanie Vernet is a Haitian American, Boston native filmmaker, raised in Orlando Florida. She received her MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University and her BFA in Digital Media Production from The International Academy of Design & Technology.

 

Stephanie has held various technical leadership roles on over 15 projects including short films, music videos, live events, broadcast, and web series; and was the cinematographer on her own master's thesis film, Seeping Between The Cracks (a Tampa Bay Film Festival selection).  She continues to flourish in her visual storytelling practices, and hopes to someday work on Oscar, Emmy, and VMA qualifying content.

Mike Hale: 2nd Assistant Camera

 

Mike Hale is a filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He has a degree in English with a minor in Film from Kennesaw State University and a Masters degree in Film Production from Full Sail University. When not writing, directing, editing or scoring films, he teaches film techniques to elementary and middle school students through Kids TV in Atlanta, GA.

Travis Daniels: Camera Operator

 

Travis Daniels is a cinematographer from Denver, Colorado with a deep passion for working in the camera department. He has worked in the camera department on projects ranging from PSA videos for non-profit organizations, live productions, student films, and sports entertainment. Travis worked as Camera Operator in the MFA Film Production thesis film Unusual Places utilizing the Sony F65 and F5 with sticks and handheld. He enjoys the team work that is involved with creating and shooting films and videos. He plans to work in Georgia in the camera department working on feature films, documentaries, independent films, commercials and sports broadcasts.

Ysmael Carbonell: Art Director

 

Ysmael Carbonell is a writer and director whose main interests lie within the realms of Science Fiction, Horror, Mystery and Action. Ysmael is a graduate of Full Sail Universal. During his time as a student he has written and directed his own short films such as, House Broken, and two renditions of literary works by Edgar Allan Poe: The Tell Tale, and The Fall of the House of Usher. He has also been in other short films such as Love Wins by Knockout as the 1st Assistant Director,  and the The Rift as the Production Designer. He is currently working on two feature films that are set for an international release.

 

Amanda Bovea: Gaffer
 
Amanda Bovea is a filmmaker born and raised in Miami, Florida.  Amanda has a passion for creating works of art, be it on a canvas or digital media. She is a Film Production Master’s student at Full Sail University, and will graduate in the summer of 2016. Amanda will continue her film journey by relocating to Atlanta or Los Angeles. 

Hernan Zuleta: Electric (Best Boy)

 

Hernan S. Zuleta is a writer/director from Medellin, Colombia. He earned a BS in Marketing from The University of Central Florida.  His passion for movies, and the desire to make them has pushed him to make the life changing decision to pursue a career in film. Hernan recently earned a MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University.   While at Full Sail, Hernan participated in more than 12 short films, 6 of which were thesis films. Hernan will transition to directing independent feature films. 

Jonathan Bowens: Electric

 

Jonathan Bowens is a filmmaker from South Florida. He is a producer and director, known for his unique short films such as Phrenology, The Last Soul Brother, and Magi. He is a recent graduate of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida where he earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production.

 

As a jack of all trades, Jonathan has worn many hats during a film’s production. He has worked as a producer, director, cinematographer and camera operator as well as a grip and electrician.

 

Bowens has also worked as a 1st Assistant Director on a number of Full Sail University productions including the thesis film Seeping Between The Cracks and the hilarious upcoming web series No Good Deeds.

Taylor Hayes: Key Grip

 

Taylor Hayes earned her MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University. During her time at Full Sail she created several films and worked as a grip on many projects. After graduation, she continues her internship at Full Sail University. Now she works freelance for companies such as like ESPN (contract base), SPARK (non-profit organization), Zuminez, and Mine Kill State Park. 

Cassidy Glascock: Grip

 

Cassidy Glascock is a filmmaker from Marshall, VA. She earned her BS in Digital Cinematography and her MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University. In her academic career, she produced over thirty projects. She has professional experience creating web videos, writing digital content, and mixing live sound. 

Brace Washington: Grip
 
Brace Washington is a filmmaker from Baltimore, MD. He majored in Film Cinematography at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. He has been credited on several short films such as director for Light, he wrote the score for Cornfall, and gaffer for Unchained. His goal is to create the next big SciFi franchise.

Alwyn Alex: Composer

 

Alwyn Alex composed all of the music for the thesis film Unusual Places. Amazingly, he created the entire music score in just four hours. He is a student of Recording Arts at Full Sail University. He will earn his degree in February 2016 and is very excited to start an internship at Full Sail University’s Dub Stage.

RaeAnna Speights: Composer (Trailer)

 

RaeAnna Speights  was born and raised in East Moline, Illinois. After moving to Birmingham, AL, her mother kept her busy by introducing her to the fine arts, where she found a love for acting and music. She now plays the piano and violin. It was playing the violin that planted the seed to her interest in scoring films. RaeAnna goals are to win an Oscar and a Grammy for her work in music and film.

Brittney L. McPherson: Script Supervisor

 

Brittney L. McPherson, is from Savannah, GA. She earned a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, and immediately began her MFA in Film Production at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.  She has worked on various projects with many organizations at Full Sail, such as SPARK, WWE, Full Sail’s Pure Motivation, Like Mind Productions, LLC, etc. Brittney had the opportunity to be the Unit Production Manager on two thesis films, Production Manager/Production Coordinator for a music video for a local artist, and Creative Producer for the short film “Only For You”. Brittney plans to transition into producing television.

Anthony Grier: Behind The Scenes Photographer

 

Anthony Grier earned his BFA in Media Production from American Inter Continental University in Atlanta, GA, and his MS in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, in Winter Park, FL.  Anthony has produced, directed and written 16 short films and videos.  He aspired to open his own independent film production company in the future.
